Stuttering can be defined as a speech problem in children. Speaking fluently and completing the sentence without taking any pause is almost impossible for stuttering children. Through the years, data has shown that stuttering is more common in boys as compared to girls.

Another sure way to help reduce stuttering episodes is by helping the child gain his or her confidence. They can indulge in different activities together which gives the surety to the child that the parent will be with the child no matter what.
There is another name of stuttering which is called stammering and is also very commonly used. Stuttering can cause children to feel low and less self-confident.
Chronic stuttering, if not treated properly on time, can become a part of the child's life forever. Even in adulthood, they will not stop stammering and it can be a cause of further anxiety and embarrassment for them.
